Restaurant announces closure on Facebook Monday.

Asha Gomez will close her restaurant Cardomom Hill one week from today, the chef announced on the restaurant’s Facebook page Monday.

“It is a bitter-sweet day as I announce to you that Cardamom Hill will be closing her doors after dinner service Monday, July 28,” according to the post.

“I am forever indebted and grateful to Cardamom Hill for giving me a platform to showcase regional Indian cuisine.”

The restaurant, at 1700 Northside Dr., is closing “due to the seating limitations.”

Gomez is moving forward with her three other concepts: The Third Space and Spice to Table in Studioplex, and Spice Road Chicken coming soon to Krog Street Market.

No word on what will open in Cardamom’s place.
