Former Italian restaurant goes Irish in Shops at Metropolis.
The La Tagliatella Midtown space won’t sit dark long.
Fadó Irish Pub is opening in the Italian restaurant’s place, at 933 Peachtree Street NE., in Shops at Metropolis, real estate developer Jamestown Tuesday announced in a press release. La Tagliatella closed its doors in March.
“We have been looking for the ideal Midtown location for quite some time and we think we have found it at Metropolis,” Kieran McGill, founding partner at Fadó, said in the release.
“Irish pubs In addition to being the social centers, now include savory food, local beers and excellent cocktails. We’re excited to bring a 2015 vintage pub to Midtown residents, neighbors and workers alike.”
The Midtown condominium project is currently home to concepts including Orangetheory Fitness, Sweet Hut Bakery & Café and others, and will be joined by Fado in the first quarter of 2015.
The tenant was represented by The Cheroff Group, Ltd. and the landlord was represented by Jamestown Realty.
Is Fado the right choice for this space? Dish in the comments!
I wonder if this will only occupy the La Tag space or also take the space recently vacated by Aurum too.
Hi PK, the Aurum space is being leased separately ~ CJS
Hmm. I would think Fado would want more space that just what’s in that front area. Any word on what’s going into the Aurum space ?
Hi PK, no word just yet…but we do know the broker showing the space and are privy to some prospects. Stay tuned! ~ CJS
Thanks!
Very happy that my brethren are moving in.
