An artisan ice cream brand is dishing up a new scoop shop in metro Atlanta.
Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is planned for one of the commercial spaces near Marietta Square, according to construction documents. The shop located at 93 Church Street would be about 1,229 square feet.
Jeni Britton founded Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams in Columbus, Ohio, in 2002. In addition to company-owned scoop shops across the U.S., Jeni’s has an online shop that ships to all 50 states, and the products can also be found in grocery stores.
Jeni’s is known for unique flavors like Wildberry Lavender, Banana Cream Pudding, Gooey Butter Cake, Brambleberry Crisp and more.
The Marietta location would be the 12th Jeni’s in Georgia. There are currently 10 locations in metro Atlanta and one in Athens.
