Eastern Mediterranean concept now called ‘Bezoria.’

UPDATE (Dec. 9, 2014) Bakeshop’s Replacement Bezoria Opening Dec. 13.

Bazaria, the Eastern Mediterranean restaurant slated to replace Lime Fresh Mexican Grill (and Bakeshop before that) at 903 Peachtree Street, is undergoing changes before ever even opening.

The fast-casual concept will now be called Bezoria, Yogi Patel, the restaurant’s owner, told What Now Atlanta on location Monday.

Patel and his team went through the process of trademarking the restaurant’s name months ago, but was challenged by a Las Vegas-based company claiming rights to it.

“We don’t agree, but we didn’t want to get in a lawsuit over it,” Patel said. “Everything except the name will remain the same.”

Bezoria, a name coined by Patel, plays off the words “bazar” and “euphoria.” The restaurant will serve pitas, seasoned meats, hand chopped veggies and signature sauces, all made in-house.

Patel owns an Uncle Maddio’s in Toco Hills and a Tin Drum in Athens. His goal is to open three metro-Atlanta locations of his new Eastern Mediterranean concept, all corporate-owned, within eighteen months.

Atlantans interested in working at Bezoria can apply in person Monday Oct. 20 and Monday Oct. 27 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Bezoria should open in mid to late November.
