The fine fragrance concept Olfactory NYC is expanding to Atlanta, with a location expected to open at Ponce City Market in spring 2025.

Founded by JJ Vittoria in New York City in 2017, Olfactory now has three NYC boutiques, as well as boutiques in Boston and Washington D.C. They are set to open another Washington D.C. store, plus several other locations in key markets across the country.

At Olfactory NYC, customers are able to create personalized fragrances starting from one of their nine core gender-neutral scents. Then based on their preferences, the store’s “scentologist” will guide them through the process of layering scents to come up with their own personalized fragrance. The scent is then packaged in a bottle of the customer’s color choice and hand-stamped with a custom label.

The brand also offers the option to create custom scents at home, with a three-step process designed to replicate the in-store experience.

The Ponce City Market shop will also offer travel sprays, body wash, body lotion, rinse-free hand wash, and soy-blend candles. It will be located next to the Central Food Hall’s west entrance, across from Allbirds and Bellina Alimentari’s patio.
