A wellness studio is planned for The Krog District.
SweatHouz (often stylized as SWTHZ) is proposed for 99 Krog Street NE, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta. The space will be nearly 2,200 square feet.
The concept is a contrast therapy studio that gives clients deliberate exposure to heat and cold with an infrared sauna, a cold plunge, a vitamin C shower and a full entertainment system. According to the company, some benefits include reduced stress, muscle recovery and detoxification.
SweatHouz can currently be found in West Midtown, Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Roswell and Vinings. The Krog Street location is listed as “coming soon” on the company website.
Atlanta-based Legacy Franchise Concepts is listed as the owner of the upcoming studio. In addition to SweatHouz, the company is also a franchisee of the dog daycare Dogtopia.
The Krog District is a mixed-use destination along the BeltLine featuring restaurants and retail businesses.
SweatHouz is expected to open The Krog District this summer.
