An açaí bowl franchise continues to grow in the Peach State.
Playa Bowls is coming to Peachtree City, according to social media announcements. Leasing documents obtained by What Now Atlanta indicate that the location is planned for 100 N Peachtree Parkway, in a shopping center anchored by The Fresh Market.
Founded in 2014, Playa Bowls serves açaí, pitaya, mango, green and coconut bowls with a variety of toppings, including granola, fruit, honey, coconut flakes and more. The menu also features smoothies, juices, oatmeal and cold brew, with many dairy-free and gluten-free options available.
There are nearly 300 Playa Bowls locations across the U.S., including eight existing ones in Georgia. The company is based in New Jersey.
Multi-unit Playa Bowls franchisee Nick Ransom is the owner of the upcoming Peachtree City location. As previously reported by What Now Atlanta, Ransom is also bringing the concept to Snellville.
The upcoming Peachtree City location is hiring team members and a general manager.
