Lifelong friends and Atlanta natives Kelly Musselwhite and Lauren Baynes founded bornbaby in 2020. In a joint statement, the founders said, “Since opening bornbaby 5 years ago, we have wanted as many families as possible to experience what we have built, because we think it’s a pretty special place.”

Speaking about the brand’s new store, they said, “We believe that our new home will give us the visibility to reach new people and grow our amazing community, while also providing a more convenient shopping location for our existing customers.”

bornbaby is relocating to Shops Around Lenox in Buckhead from its previous store location near East Andrews. This old store will remain open until March 25. Located at 3400 Around Lenox Road NE, this will be the upscale shopping mall’s only store devoted entirely to children. With this move, the store is establishing its presence in the heart of Buckhead in Atlanta.

With the addition of bornbaby to its retail lineup, Shops Around Lenox will now be offering a versatile shopping experience. The 124,000-square-foot space includes leading brands, unique local boutiques, premium fitness studios, and artisanal dining spots.
