Celebrate Spring at a two-day outdoor local arts and crafts festival set to happen this April. The Spring Festival on Ponce will be held this coming weekend, on April 5 and 6. This one of a kind event is certainly a must-visit event in Atlanta during this Springtime.

The venue for the Spring Festival on Ponce will be the Olmsted Linear Park, along Ponce de Leon Ave. The park was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted Sr., one of America’s most renowned landscape architects. The festival will not only celebrate the rich art and history of the Atlantan community but also will support the restoration of the historic park.

The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces presents the Spring Festival on Ponce as a celebration of community and tradition. This arts and crafts festival will be a great opportunity to experience the vibrant culture of Atlanta in one place.

The main highlight of the festival will be the Artist Market, which will feature around 125 displays of fine arts and crafts, folk, and “outsider art.” The artists shall be selling their works to those who would like to own the unique pieces. All kinds of visual artists – photographers, painters, sculptors, jewelers, glass blowers, metal craft workers, and many more – will be presenting their art to visitors.

The organizers have been announcing the names of the displays that will be showcased at the festival on the instagram page.

After exploring the Artist Market, the festival-goers may feel hungry and thirsty. That will also be taken care of, as many food and beverage vendors will line up at the festival, offering their best bites and sips.

Visitors will also enjoy live acoustic entertainment at the festival. The kids will have a great time playing around in the children’s park as well.

Timings and Tickets

The timings to visit the park for the festivities on both days will be as follows:

  • Saturday, April 5: 10 AM to 5 PM
  • Sunday, April 6: 11 AM to 5 PM

Spring Festival on Ponce will be FREE for all, welcoming people of all ages. The event will also be pet-friendly.
