The City of Alpharetta is gearing up for an evening of incredible flavors and family fun in May. “Taste of Alpharetta” will feature over 60 restaurants serving their delicious dishes, live music performances by local and regional artists, engaging activities, and a lot more.
As per the official announcement, Taste of Alpharetta will take place on May 8, from 5 PM to 10 PM. The event venue will be Downtown Alpharetta, 2 Park Plaza, Alpharetta. Admission to the event will be free for all, and tickets will be sold for the tastings and activities.

Taste of Alpharetta 2025: The Ultimate Foodie Festival is Back
Taste of Alpharetta will be an event filled with a variety of exciting things happening all around. From savoring the delectable food samples and drinks to vibing to the music, learning experiences, and helping to choose the best dishes, there will be a lot to engage in at this event.
Janet Rodgers is the President & CEO of the Alpharetta Convention & Visitors Bureau, which is organizing the event. “Taste of Alpharetta is about more than just amazing food- it’s an invitation to experience unique culinary experiences and discover all that our city has to offer, and to see why it earned the distinction as a Top 3 Culinary Town of the South,” she said. Welcoming visitors, she said, “Come for the event, stay for the weekend, and fall in love with Alpharetta!”
Sample Foods from Top Restaurants
Taste of Alpharetta will line up over 60 top restaurants which will serve samples of mouthwatering dishes to the guests. They will get to try out a variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts being offered. The festival has updated the list of restaurants that will be present at the event. The sample can be tasted by paying with Tastebucks.
Everyone Gets to Enjoy the Music
Live Music performances will happen at the four stages at the event and artists from a variety of genres will be performing for their audience. The music will cater to all the different tastes and vibes. The schedule and list of artists for the music performances have been announced.
Learn About the Journey of Food at the Locally Grown Area
For a learning experience, visitors can attend the sessions at the Locally Grown area. At the hands-on, interactive space, the attendees will be educated about the local food systems. They will get to learn about the different pollinators and sustainable farming practices.
The event will be presented by Jonathan R. Brockman P.C., and other leaders and innovators in the local food industry shall also be imparting their knowledge. 2BlackBeekeepers, Cambridge FFA, Cambridge High School Agaretta Box, and several others are among the participating organizations.
Drink Away, Groove to Music, and Click Pictures at The Beverage Garden
At the intersection of Milton and Roswell/Canton Streets will be The Beverage Garden. This space, sponsored by Dave & Buster’s, will be another feature of this year’s event. A selection of exclusive beverages presented by Casamigos Tequila, Chloe Wine, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and other official sponsors will be served to Adults aged 21+. They can enjoy the drinks in the comfortable seating area, vibe to the live music, and click some pics to save memories at the 360 photo booth.
Become a Judge at the 2025 Culinary Competition
The 2025 Culinary Competition at Taste of Alpharetta, presented by Mise en place Cooking Studio, will pick the Best Appetizer, Best Entrée, and Best Dessert from blind-tasting entries by top restaurants. The event offers those interested a unique experience of what it’s like to judge a culinary competition.
Interested individuals must submit their application forms by 12 PM on April 9 to be considered for a judging position. On winning a seat as an official judge, the individuals will join top food critics, social media influencers, Alpharetta restaurateurs, and community leaders in picking the best dishes.
People’s Choice Awards
Visitors of the festival will cast their votes and participate in honoring the the best culinary talents in Alpharetta. They will choose the best restaurants and dishes across the categories for the 2025 People’s Choice Awards. The categories are as follows:
- Best Overall Restaurant
- The Rookie Award (for restaurants open for less than 2 years)
- Tried & True (for restaurants open for more than 2 years)
- Best Vegetarian Dish
- Best Street Food.
Attendees can cast their votes for the People’s Choice Awards using the Taste of Alpharetta app or by scanning QR codes displayed throughout the event venue. The winners will be announced the week after the event on the event’s social media pages.
Endless Fun At the Kidz Zone
The Kidz Zone at the festival will feature a wide array of exciting games, inflatables, and challenge courses. Poison Raceway Obstacle Course, City Walk Play Ground, Giant Boom Box Bouncer, Ballistic Carnival Ride, and many more rides and activities will be available for kids of all ages.

How to Pay & Save at Taste of Alpharetta?
All purchases for food, activities, and merchandise at Taste of Alpharetta will be made using TasteBucks, the festival’s digital currency. TasteBucks will be available to buy and redeem easily on the Taste of Alpharetta mobile app, available on Google Play and the App Store. TasteBucks will go on sale at 10 AM on April 14. The pricings for the food samples range will range from $1 to $6. The Kidz Zone unlimited play wristbands will be priced at $15 for one or $25 for two.
Early bird discounts will be available for the first week after the sale begins. Visitors can grab 30 TasteBucks for just $25 and a bundle of three Kidz Zone wristbands for $10 each ($30 total). These discounts will be available only until April 20 at 11:59 PM, so early purchases are encouraged to maximize savings.
