A new lease was recently brokered by Oakhurst Realty Partners for the 5519 Main Street mixed-use development project. The prime retail and restaurant space in the central business district is ideal for small, local restaurants.
“Independent local restaurants are the foundation for transforming downtowns like Flowery Branch. They offer authentic destinations and build a neighborhood’s sense of place. The addition of 4 Elephants Laotian Restaurant brings an Asian flavor to the City that will be uniquely Flowery Branch,” said Todd Semrau, Vice President of Oakhurst Realty Partners who brokered the contract.
4 Elephants Catering serves freshly prepared, traditional Laotian food with a modern flair. “We want to bring the taste of Laos to Flowery Branch because most people don’t know where Laos is, so we want to bring the authentic taste with a mix of Laos and street food,” said Sunny Xayavongsa. Sunny’s mother, Viravanh, owns the business, and she handles the backend along with her sister.
Xayavongsa family is honored to bring Lao Food to Flowery Branch. “We grew up here and still love it. We’ve watched the city grow and we’re happy to bring this restaurant to our hometown,” Sunny told What Now Atlanta.
Every dish is prepared with the love and the Laotion traditions the family grew up with. “Our biggest sellers are our eggrolls. Everyone loves them. We serve them at all of our family events, it’s what our mom is known for,” Sunny said.
Additionally, the menu includes steam buns, spring rolls, pad thai, oxtail pho, sticky rice, and Laos ribs.
This 1,259-square-foot facility is still in the design process and is awaiting a few city approvals. Sunny says the family hopes to open 4 Elephants Restaurant by the end of 2022.
Yum! Can’t wait! Just a short drive.
