Commercial Project Called Hillside Retail Plaza Underway

The development off Buford Highway could include a convenience store.

A new commercial development called Hillside Retail Plaza is planned northeast of Atlanta.

The project at 6550 Buford Highway NE will be a new, complete structure, according to a building permit application.

Gwinnett County Department of Planning and Development documents from earlier this year indicate that plans for the one-story development include a convenience store and 20 parking spaces.

The property off Buford Highway is currently a vacant lot.

Developer Ayaz Ali told What Now Atlanta that at this time he couldn’t disclose more details about what specific businesses are planned for the development.
