Currently located in the Crossroads Shopping Center on Kendall Drive, Italian trattoria Secreto Restaurant is preparing to pick up stakes and move to a new location.

“We are moving our restaurant,” co-owner Kerstin Angarita confirmed to What Now on Friday. Angarita confirms, too, that your favorite items will still be on the menu when the restaurant closes up shop at 11652 N Kendall Drive and reopens—according to so submitted plan review documents—at 5885 SW 73rd St.

The menu on the restaurant’s website features pasta dishes like Fettuccine Pomaresca (Our Traditional Fettuccine with crispy bacon, prosciutto di Parma, green peas, white truffle oil and topped with Parmesan cheese), Fig Ravioli (Ravioli filled with fig and ricotta cheese served with white wine sauce, butter and crispy pancetta sauce), and Veal Scaloppini Marsala (Veal scaloppini cooked with virgin olive oil Marsala wine and mushrooms).

“SECRETO is a labor of love based on an inspiration,” says the Secreto website. “Born in January of 2009, SECRETO blends exotic flavors, many with that Latin flair that can be found only in Miami, with the true essence of Italian cuisine – this is what characterizes the creations that come out of our kitchen. In addition to our food, we at SECRETO strive to set ourselves apart with our service.  We are always thinking about the client and work to satisfy each person’s exquisite and varied palate with the service that each individual deserves.”
