According to SF Eater, Chef Alex Hong and operations director Joel Wilkerson of Sorrel plan to open a full restaurant, lounge, and bar at the Ferry Building.

Coming to 1 Ferry Building, Arquet Restaurant will land alongside existing tenants such as Acme Bread Company, Blue Bottle Coffee, and Gott’s Roadside.

“Berkeley-based architecture and design Studio KDA ideated the elegant and modern design; meanwhile, final menus and details will be available closer to the opening,” the Journal reports.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the restaurateurs, “Hong cut his teeth at Michelin-starred restaurants Quince and Frasca Food and Wine in Boulder, Colorado, while Wilkerson holds sommelier certifications and was the manager at three-Michelin-starred Benu,” shares Eater.

An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
