With fourteen locations currently in operation and many more on the way, the Fresh Monkee is bringing its “truly healthy protein shakes” all over the country. The brand already has a presence in states like Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Arizona, and now it’s preparing to launch new locations in Florida both in the Jacksonville market and in Davie, where a new Fresh Monkee will open at 13606 W State Rd 84.
Some of the most popular items from the Fresh Monkee menu include the Antioxidant Berry shake (water, splash of pom juice, splash of orange juice, splash of milk, vanilla protein, spinach, mixed berries), the Chunkee Monkee (milk, chocolate or vanilla protein, banana, natural peanut butter), and the Hazelnut S’mores (milk, chocolate protein, Nutella, graham cracker, marshmallows).
There are also Monkee Balls, little confections made with natural peanut butter, oat flour, chocolate whey protein, maple syrup, and vanilla extract rolled in semi-sweet chocolate chips and coconut oil.
Behind the Davie location is franchisee Jen Rhett. What Now reached out to Rhett on Wednesday to ask about plans for the opening. Rhett was not immediately available for comment.
South Florida’s first Fresh Monkee location will open in Shenandoah Square, the retail center on the southwest corner of State Road 84 and Southwest 136th Avenue.
