Acclaimed Houston restaurateur and Executive Chef Paul Friedman is preparing to expand on his culinary vision. The Chef’s Table has been permitted for a second location at 2055 Westheimer Rd #180, bringing the modern fine dining concept to the bustling Upper Kirby neighborhood.
According to recent permit filings, the upcoming site will undergo a $1.2 million transformation. The renovation includes both interior and exterior updates to an existing restaurant space, with plans for a full commercial kitchen, spacious bar, and elegant dining areas inside and out. The new location will span approximately 7,863 square feet, signaling a significant step up in size and footprint from the original.
Friedman, who serves as both Executive Chef and CEO, is known for curating menus that blend global influences with high-end presentation and service. The Chef’s Table doesn’t deviate by delivering a memorable experience, one course at a time.
Construction is expected to begin in May 2025 with a targeted completion date in January 2026.
