A beloved local scoop shop with roots in Shawnee Hills is headed to Hilliard, promising to bring even more sweetness to one of the city’s most popular gathering spots.
Dell’s Ice Cream, known for its creamy house-made ice cream, refreshing sorbets, specialty drinks, and light eats, is the newest addition to Center Street Market, located at 5354 Center St. in Hilliard. The family-friendly treat shop originally opened its doors in 2014 on Dublin Road, where it quickly became a neighborhood favorite.
Now, nearly a decade later, Dell’s is preparing to branch out from its original Shawnee Hills location and join the bustling food hall in downtown Hilliard. The move was recently announced by Megan Fry, co-owner of Crooked Can Brewing Co. and Center Street Market, which houses a curated lineup of local vendors under one roof.
Though an official opening date has yet to be announced, the anticipation is already building. Once open, Dell’s will join a flavorful lineup at the market that includes popular vendors like The Cheesecake Girl, Meatball Mafia, and Hot Mess, alongside Crooked Can’s craft beer.
Center Street Market has become a staple destination in Hilliard, offering food, drinks, and community vibes from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and late-night hours until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Whether you’re a longtime fan of Dell’s or new to their hand-scooped creations, Hilliard’s sweet scene is about to get a whole lot cooler.
