It looks like a local restaurant known for its steak tips may be headed to Revere Beach.
According to Boston Restaurant Talk, Floramo’s could be taking over the space currently occupied by Antonia’s At The Beach, located at 492 Revere Beach Blvd.
At a recent Revere License Commission Meeting, a member of the family that owns the property stated that Floramo’s is expected to become the new tenant, though no lease has officially been signed. He also noted that the current tenant, Antonia’s, has been evicted and must vacate the premises by the end of April 2025.
Floramo’s was founded in 1984 by Tommy and Pat Floramo and has had several homes over the years. After its original Chelsea outpost closed due to redevelopment, Floramo’s opened locations in Wakefield and Malden in 2022. Both shuttered in 2024, followed by a short-lived partnership with Bossmama in Wakefield this past winter.
In addition to its famous steak tips, the menu at Floramo’s features a hearty lineup of American comfort favorites, including seafood, burgers, barbecue, pasta, wraps, and subs.
Kerri Floramo declined to comment when reached by What Now Boston. “I can’t say anything yet,” she said.
