According to recent reporting Orlando Business Journal, Gems Hospitality Group, an Atlanta company, will soon debut a new nightlife establishment in town.
Cosmo Lounge, which exists already at 7513 International Drive as Cosmo Hookah Lounge & Bar, has recently signed lease with property owner Team Market Group for a space on East Pine Street.
“We are renovating and working on permit applications,” said company shareholder Narendra Modha of the new establishment. “It will open as Cosmo Downtown in about 20 or 25 days.”
Reportedly partner Demetrius said that “Our I-Drive location is a bit more fast-paced.”
“With the downtown lounge, we want to turn down the tempo. It will be more of a chill vibe.”
Describing the design style of the establishment, Martin says, “It’s definitely going to look better.”
“That’s what’s going to sell it, like a Miami and Vegas type vibe with neon lights, neon glow-in-the-dark painting, a lot of aesthetics. We wanted a look that’s really different, with a blend of Vegas and Miami.”
