According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, restaurateurs and chefs Laura and Sayat Ozyilmaz are finally getting closer to opening their new concept on Presidio.

Coming to 500 Presidio Avenue, the yet-to-be-named eatery will land near establishments such as Garibaldis Restaurant, Presidio Kebab, and Sorrel.

What Now San Francisco originally reported on the upcoming spot back in 2023, after finding a press release published by the Presidio Trust that shared that the menu would offer “California ingredients inspired by the natural surroundings” — and that the eatery would be open for brunch, lunch, and dinner.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the couple, they are known in the Bay Area for their previous positions as Co-Executive Chefs at Noosh and for their popular pop-up, Istanbul Modern. They also have experience in the kitchens of Mourad and Saison.

The concept is predicted to openmaybe sometime in 2027,Sayat Ozyilmaz tells What Now San Francisco in a recent phone call. Stay tuned for updates.
