Culver’s, the beloved Midwestern chain known for its ButterBurgers and creamy frozen custard, is bringing a brand-new location to Canal Winchester. The future restaurant is planned for 6450 Gender Road and will include a drive-thru for added convenience.
While construction hasn’t started just yet, the city’s zoning committee has officially approved the project—marking a big step toward expanding Culver’s Central Ohio presence. Currently, local fans have to visit locations in Powell, Hilliard, or Reynoldsburg to get their fix.
The Wisconsin-based chain has built a strong following thanks to its signature burgers—made with never-frozen beef and served on a buttered bun—as well as its rich, slow-churned frozen custard. From savory crinkle-cut fries to sweet Concrete Mixers packed with toppings, Culver’s has become a comfort food favorite.
An opening date for the Canal Winchester location hasn’t been announced yet, but burger and custard lovers in the area have plenty to look forward to.
