Halal Burger Chain Iniburger Expanding to Berkeley

According to a recent business license application, the halal burger chain Iniburger plans to open in Berkeley.

Coming to 2114 Center Street, the eatery will land near establishments such as the cafe Elaichi Co., the Californian restaurant Gather, and the pizza joint Jupiter.

What Now San Francisco spoke briefly with the location’s franchisee, Ehtisham Hassan, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Iniburger, the concept is known for offering 100% halal beef and chicken patties, free of hormones and antibiotics, on preservative-free buns, topped with farm-fresh field greens.

There a currently four locations across Campbell, Fremont, Pleasanton, and Santa Clara.
