The restaurant is replacing LPC space near the intersection of Peachtree and Spring Streets.

Drew Van Leuvan, executive chef and owner of Seven Lamps, and restaurateur Billy Streck of Cypress Street Pint & Plate, are opening Tavernpointe August 5, the neighborhood restaurant in a press release announced Wednesday.

Located near the intersection of Peachtree and Spring Streets in the Invesco tower, at 1545 Peachtree Street, Tavernpointe will serve “elevated” American cuisine in space previously occupied by LPC.

“We want to sit in the middle of a neighborhood pub and a high-end restaurant,” Streck said in the release.

“You can come here and enjoy a really special evening of dinner or drinks, but this is also a place where you can celebrate a birthday or special occasion with the entire family. You don’t have to leave the kids at home.”

Tavernpointe will serve lunch, dinner and brunch with items like smoked and roasted meats, seafood, salads with ingredients sourced from local farms, house-made pasta, and ice-cream floats.

The restaurant’s bar has 13 taps, 50 to 60 wines, and a cocktail list that utilizes “unusual ingredients” such as bell peppers, vinegar, and Earl Grey tea with spirits, homemade syrups and bitters.
