Casa Nané, a family-founded and Ecuadorian-born bistro and bakery, has officially opened the doors to its first location in the heart of Brickell. Situated in Maizon Brickell on SW 2nd Avenue, this new outpost brings Casa Nané’s signature cookies, and all-day brunch to one of Miami’s most vibrant neighborhoods–inviting guests to slow down, recharge, and indulge in life’s simple pleasures, one bite at a time.

Casa Nané is the evolution of Biscuits by Nané, which began in 2013 in the home kitchen of the Ecuadorian pastry chef Jeanet Hanze–affectionately known as “Nané.” What started as a weekend baking hobby soon became a full-fledged culinary venture. With the support of her husband and business partner, Christian Stagg, Hanze turned her passion into a growing gastronomic brand, opening multiple locations across Ecuador. The Brickell opening marks a milestone in their dream to share Casa Nané’s homemade flavors beyond borders.

“We’ve had remarkable success with our five locations in Ecuador and are thrilled to bring this experience to Miami,” said Jeanet Hanze, Casa Nané co-founder and pastry chef in a statement. “We love the energy of Brickell and hope Casa Nané becomes a space where people can pause, come together and enjoy the warmth of community.”

The Brickell location offers a curated menu that blends sweet indulgence with savory comfort. Guests can treat themselves to Casa Nané’s iconic, freshly baked cookies in an array of unique flavors—including s’mores, coconut dulce de leche & macadamia, red velvet, and more. The all-day brunch menu also features hearty salads, pastas, sandwiches, burgers, and a selection of specialty coffees, smoothies, and teas.

Open for weekend brunch, lunch and dinner, Casa Nané showcases the rich flavors of Ecuadorian cuisine with traditional green plantain-based dishes such as tigrillo—a comforting scramble of mashed green plantains, cheese and eggs; bolón—mashed green plantains stuffed with cheese or chicharrón (pork rinds); and tortilla de verde—a crispy, golden plantain tortilla with a soft, cheesy center. Guests can also enjoy super fresh Ecuadorian ceviches, like the JipiJapa Ceviche with raw Mahi-Mahi in a tangy lime and peanut base, or the mixed seafood ceviche featuring Mahi-Mahi, shrimp, and octopus cured in citrus and garnished with avocado, cilantro, and crispy plantain chips.

Designed with soft pastel hues, natural wood accents, handmade pastel-pink tableware crafted by an Ecuadorian artist, and a wide floral mural inspired by the brand’s Ecuadorian roots, the 1,800-square-foot location offers a calming, 56-seat setting with both indoor seating and outdoor tables.

As part of its vision to foster community and creativity, Casa Nané also plans to host curated events—including floral workshops, fitness gatherings, and more—to bring people together beyond the plate.

“Bringing Casa Nané to the U.S. has been a vision years in the making,” said Christian Stagg, Casa Nané co-founder. “From logistics to sourcing, every detail has been carefully planned to ensure this new location reflects the same quality, warmth, and consistency our customers love back home. Brickell is just the beginning—we’re excited to keep growing.”

Casa Nané is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is located at 1130 SW 2nd Ave., Miami, FL. For pickup or delivery, visit casanane.com or call (305) 944-9815. Orders are currently available through Uber Eats, with plans to expand to additional third-party delivery platforms in the near future.
