According to SF Eater, the hot pot shop Mokuku — located at 332 Clement Street, near establishments such as Burma Superstar, the Vietnamese restaurant Lily, and the Italian eatery Pasta Supply — has shuttered.
However, the Journal reports that a note on the door reveals the team behind the restaurant plans to debut a new concept at the same address, listed as Moore Asian Fusion.
What Now San Francisco reached out to one of the concept’s owners, Zhiliang Shen, to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
For readers who did not have the opportunity to visit Mokuku before its closure, the concept introduced itself as “a sprawling locale with all-you-can-eat Japanese hot pot fare, shabu plates, a full bar & TVs,” on its Google Maps profile.
An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
