Shake Shack is expanding with a brand-new location permitted for 8815 W Loop S. According to state filings, the upcoming quick-service restaurant will occupy 3,072 square feet within an existing shell building. The interior fit-out is estimated to cost $910,000.
Known for its spin on classic roadside burgers, Shake Shack has steadily grown its presence across Houston. The brand originally began as a hot dog cart in New York City’s Madison Square Park and has since evolved into a global chain with a massive following. Its modern menu includes hormone-free Angus beef burgers, flat-top dogs, chicken sandwiches, and hand-spun shakes that draw long lines during peak hours.
The project outlines a full interior buildout to transform the space into a functional and stylish Shake Shack outpost. As with many of its newer locations, guests can likely expect sleek finishes, digital ordering options, and possibly a covered outdoor patio if site conditions allow—although no design specifics have been publicly confirmed yet.
Construction is scheduled to begin in June 2025, with completion projected for September 2025.
