Chubby Group, the hospitality company behind brands like Chubby Cattle BBQ and Chubby Cattle Hotpot, is bringing its Chubby Skewers brand to Las Vegas. The new restaurant will open at 4525 Spring Mountain Road, Suite 105, according to licensing paperwork submitted to Clark County. That puts it right next to Chubby Cattle BBQ, which is in Suite 106.

Chubby Skewers is known for serving up “Authentic Northeastern Chinese barbecue that brings you happiness.”

“Specializing in authentic Northeastern (东北) style barbecue, aims to introduce this unique taste to a global audience,” says the restaurant’s website. “With the motto ‘Toast to Happiness, Look Forward to a Beautiful Life,’ we [focus] on creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. The brand blends Northeastern Chinese street culture into its theme, making it a trendy spot for young people.”

The menu features 28 different skewer proteins. There’s chicken, scallops, and A5 Wagyu Beef. There are also, for the more adventurous, choices like Wagyu Beef Tongue, Wagyu Beef Kidney, Beef Tripe, Braised Chicken Feet, and Chicken Heart.

No official opening date has been set for the new Chubby Skewers, but a Yelp page has been created for it, and it declares that this restaurant is “Coming Soon.”
