Restaurateur Tim Liu — the man behind Mikado Sushi in MetroWest, Boku Sushi & Grill and Oza Izakaya near SeaWorld – will soon be expanding his Ozakaya Holding restaurant group with a new Oza location.

Set to open on East Colonial Drive in Orlando in late winter 2025, the growing brand’s new spot will accommodate diners within a “3,200-square-foot interior plus a 700-square-foot enclosed, air-conditioned glass sunroom. A unique feature will be three modern tatami rooms that can be used separately or combined into a larger space for customers.”

The Colonial Drive spot will stand out by virtue of its “ocean theme and focus on sushi.”

Reportedly, the menu will feature fixed-course meals with three different set options, with the first tier starting at about $85. The new Oza will offer lunch, dinner and late-night service.

“Meticulously crafted from a desire to bring people closer together, Oza Izakaya serves to surround our guests with pure bliss. Every bite, every sip, and every moment is designed for your enjoyment and to make memories alongside those you cherish. Taking inspiration from the stars, “uoza” or 魚座 celebrates Pisces, the fish in the sky, and our team wants to provide a similarly celestial experience for you,” the official website states.
