Music enthusiasts, get ready to enjoy a day full of free live music, a musical run, local food delights, artist markets, and more! Porchfest will bring all this fun to Virginia Highland on May 17, 2025. A huge lineup of music bands, food vendors, and small businesses is planned for the fest, and more than 40,000 attendees are expected.

Porchfest is Back in the Virginia Highland District
Porchfest is returning to Virginia Highland on May 17, 2025, from 10:30 am to 6 pm. Alongside live music and multiple food options at the event, people can explore handcrafted items at the artists’ market from more than 50 vendors. The accessories and art creations will showcase the local talent. People are invited to gather their friends and family to join around 40,000 other attendees at the fest.
Event Schedule for Porchfest 2025
Porchfest 2025 celebrates free music and showcases local talent. More than 100 bands will be joining the fest to perform live for the visitors. Performances will be across various genres so that each type of music lover can find their beat. Throughout the Virginia Highland neighborhood and 50+ porches, a lively and musical atmosphere will be created with these performances.
To engage kids and provide them with a memorable weekend, there will be a Kids Corner at the fest. From 11 am to 4 pm, kids can indulge in different activities such as games, crafts, and more.
- 10:30 am – Rock N Relay
- 11 am – Live music begins, kids’ corner, art market, and food truck open
- 6 pm – Festival concludes, and business district performances begin
Rock n Relay With Peers
Rock n Relay is an opportunity for people to test their endurance by running half-mile laps. People can participate individually or form a squad of up to 4 members. Race entry will begin at 10 am. Tickets to register for the race are already available. For more details, browse here.
