Soul 2 Go, the beloved Columbus-based soul food restaurant, is set to open its third Central Ohio location in Gahanna, bringing its signature Southern flavors to a new neighborhood. The upcoming restaurant will be located at 134 N. Hamilton Rd., near the new Resch’s Bakery.
Founded in 2021 by Chef Will Hightower and partners Kevin D. Hightower, Keith J.D. Hightower, and Jerome H. Ross Jr., Soul 2 Go began as a carry-out-only kitchen in the Milo-Grogan neighborhood. The team expanded with a dine-in location downtown at 72 E. Lynn St., known for its warm hospitality and rich, comforting dishes.
The Gahanna location will offer the same mouthwatering menu that has made Soul 2 Go a local favorite. Patrons can look forward to dishes like Southern Fried Cornbread, Bourbon Chicken Bowls, and the unique Fish & Spaghetti Bowl. The restaurant’s Signature Soul Food Bowl, featuring buttermilk fried chicken breast, mac and cheese, greens, and candied yams, is a standout favorite.
