Luna Grill, a fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant chain founded in 2004 by husband-and-wife duo Sean and Maria Pourteymour in San Diego, is getting ready to open a new location in Long Beach at 650A N Bellflower Blvd.

The company’s newest location is set to be a part of the Bixby Village Plaza, according to intel received by What Now Los Angeles and confirmed online by Westar Associates. It’s unclear when this location will open, but it will be in a new building currently under construction. Other new tenants joining Luna Grill include California Fish Grill, Urbane Cafe, and The Melt. Luna Grill will take up 1,800 square feet, making it the smallest tenant, along with Urbane Cafe, which has the same square footage.

This will be an excellent location for the new Luna Grill, considering Long Beach’s reputation as a health-conscious city with a demand for nutritious dining options. The site benefits from high foot traffic due to popular co-tenants like Target, Starbucks, and Ike’s Sandwiches. Its proximity to institutions like California State University, Long Beach, and the Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center ensures a steady flow of potential customers. The addition of Luna Grill fits well in a community that values fresh, wholesome meals in a convenient setting.

When this new location opens, customers can expect a Mediterranean-inspired menu featuring grilled kabob plates, bowls, and wraps. Popular items include the Chicken Kabob Plate and the Modern Greek Salad. Vegetarian options like falafel and hummus are also available. Luna Grill caters to various dietary preferences, making it an ideal match for Long Beach’s diverse and health-aware population. Family meals and catering options will also be offered, providing convenient solutions for group dining and events.
