Craig’s Cookies, a Canadian cookie brand founded in 2013 by Craig Pike, a former actor and musician from St. John’s, Newfoundland, is preparing to open a new location in Ottawa at 70 George St.
The company’s first Ottawa location is set to move into the former home of Quelque Chose Patisserie near the ByWard Market, according to the Ottawa Business Journal. A representative from the company tells What Now Montreal that this location will be corporate-owned and is expected to open in Summer 2025. This new Craig’s Cookies location will have the same cozy look with wood floors, blue tiles, and checkered patterns. The menu includes over 100 cookie flavors with regular and special options. All cookies are baked fresh on-site.
Craig’s Cookies has locations in Ontario, including Toronto, Collingwood, and Niagara Falls, as well as in St. John’s, Newfoundland. The sweet shop offers a variety of cookie options, including classic flavors like Chocolate Chip, Cookies and Cream, and Brownie. They also feature seasonal and specialty cookies such as Pumpkin Pie, Cadbury Crème Egg, and Ferrero Rocher. Customers can choose from assorted mixes like the Surprise Mix, Nut Free(ish) Mix, and The O.G. Mix, available in 6 or 12 packs.
“Here at Craig’s Cookies, we are passionate about flavour and fun,” Pike says on the company’s website. “From the first batch I made in 2013 to the mouthwatering smell of the classic chocolate chip cookies in the oven as I type this message, we pack each cookie with not only tantalizing taste but with the nostalgia you’ll feel when you take your first bite! One of the best parts of having over 100 flavours is getting to see our return customers and friends as they come back into either our Church Street or Parkdale location to get their cookie fix. Community is at the core of Craig’s Cookies, and with your first order, you are now part of our family!”
