According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Berkeley-based pizza shop Rose Pizzeria plans to debut a new location, this time in San Francisco’s Inner Richmond neighborhood.

Coming to 1 Clement Street, the eatery will land near establishments such as Arsicault Bakery, the Italian restaurant Bella Trattoria, and the breakfast restaurant Eats.

The pizzeria “will open there late this year or early next, said co-owner Gerad Gobel, who runs the pizzeria with Alexis Rorabaugh,” the Journal shares.

“With a space almost triple the size of the original, they’ll be able to produce more, possibly including house-made gelato and other pizza styles, such as thin, crispy Roman-style tonda or canotto, a puffy Neapolitan pie,” the article continues.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Rose Pizzeria, the concept was founded in 2021 when Gobel and Rorabaugh opened the flagship location on University Avenue.

What Now San Francisco reached out to Gobel to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

A specific opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
