A local Thai restaurant is cooking up a third location.
Tyde Tate Kitchen is expected to open this summer at Krog Street Market, bringing comforting, home-style Thai cuisine to the popular Atlanta food hall in The Krog District. This will be the third location for the family-owned restaurant, which can currently be found at Chattahoochee Food Works in West Midtown and in South Downtown Atlanta.
Tyde Tate Kitchen was founded in 2019 by cousins Sai Untachantr, Bank Bhamaraniyama, Matt Bhamaraniyama and Pak Raparpesh. The concept began as a pop-up before opening its first brick-and-mortar location in West Midtown in 2021 and its second outpost in South Downtown in 2023. The menu is inspired by the mother of Bank and Sai, who often cooks for Sai’s children, Tyde and Tate.
The upcoming Krog Street Market location will be located across from Little Tart, offering fan favorites like pad see ew, panang curry and basil chicken, along with dishes and seasonal specials exclusive to the location. There will also be refreshing beverages like Thai iced tea, house-made limeades and rotating mocktails featuring Southeast Asian flavors.

“We’re honored to bring Tyde Tate Kitchen to The Krog District – it’s a space we’ve admired for years,” co-founder and CEO Bank Bhamaraniyama said in a statement. “The District’s energy as an Atlanta staple, the diverse community of artisans and chefs, and its proximity to the BeltLine make it an ideal home for our third location.”
Owned by Asana Partners, The Krog District, adjacent to the BeltLine Eastside Trail, features restaurants, retail businesses, offices, residences and community gathering spaces.
Tyde Tate Kitchen is expected to open there this summer.
“Our concept always has been about sharing the food we grew up with in a way that’s accessible and exciting,” co-founder Matt Bhamaraniyama said in a statement. “We’re excited to be part of this vibrant neighborhood and share our family’s recipes with our loyal customers and guests discovering Tyde Tate for the first time.”
