A casual, fast-growing restaurant chain is expanding further in the Boston area.

Honeygrow is set to open its fourth local location this June in Shrewsbury‘s Lakeway Commons shopping mall at 193 Boston Tpke #4120, followed by a second spot at 305 Guest St in Allston soon after, according to a news release.

Fueled by a desire to elevate the fast-casual dining scene, founder Justin Rosenberg left his corporate job to launch the first Honeygrow in Philadelphia in 2012. The brand has since expanded to 60 locations and counting across nine states, including local outposts in the Seaport, Fenway, and Peabody’s Northshore Mall.

Honeygrow is known for its customizable, made-to-order stir-fry and salads, as well as a variety of honey-based dessert bowls dubbed ‘Honeybars.’ The menu caters to a range of dietary needs, with plenty of gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and high-protein options. Fan favorites include the Garlic Butter Shrimp Stir-Fry, Cold Sesame Noodle Salad, and Strawberry Shortcake Honeybar.

What Now Boston has reached out to Honeygrow representatives for more details, so stay tuned for an exact opening date for the Allston location.
