A new market and deli is preparing to open its doors in Sistrunk. Opening at 900 Sistrunk Blvd, Suite C, on the southwest corner of the intersection with Northwest Sixth Street, Provident Market will offer groceries, a deli counter, and more.
“Provident Market 1937 is a neighborhood market and deli opening soon in Sistrunk,” says a description provided to Google maps. “[It] offers custom deli sandwiches, pastries, craft beers, artisanal cheeses, and basic groceries. Guests can dine in or order online for pickup or delivery. Known for its friendly service and great food.”
Adding craft beer into the mix may just make Provident Market 1937 a new favorite not only for picking up groceries, but also for hanging out.
After coming across plan review paperwork showing an opening for Provident Market 1937 at the Sistrunk Boulevard address this week, What Now reached out to co-owner Devon Fraser. Fraser confirmed news of the launch but declined to make any additional comment at this time.
For now, we’ll have to just keep our eyes out for Provident Market 1937, opening at Sistrunk and Sixth.
