According to SFist, Los Angeles-based franchise Randy’s Donuts plans to debut four new outposts, one of which will land in Fremont.
“We don’t yet know where the other locations will be, but according to a release, franchise group Sweet Rings LLC has signed a four-store agreement,” the Journal reports.
What Now San Francisco reached out to the franchisee, Adeel Siddiqui, to inquire about his plans for the upcoming locations, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
For readers who are unfamiliar with Randy’s Donuts, the concept was founded in Inglewood. It offers a brief introduction on its website: “Since starting in 1952, Randy’s Donuts is the most recognized donut shop in the world. Our giant rooftop donut has attracted visitors from all over, making it one of the most iconic locations in Los Angeles. It is also widely known for its numerous appearances in movies, television, and brand advertising.”
“Whether it is your first visit, or you are a local, one taste of our donuts will bring you back time and time again. With our expert bakers, secret recipes, proprietary ingredients, and handmade goodness, it is no wonder our donuts are fluffier, airier, larger, and stay fresh longer,” the statement continues.
The addresses and anticipated opening dates of the upcoming shops have not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
