According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, Paik’s Noodle — an international restaurant chain known for offering Korean-Chinese cuisine — is expanding its Bay Area footprint, gearing up to debut a new outpost in San Jose later this year.
Coming to 630 Blossom Hill Road, the eatery will land near establishments such as Ace Hardware, Blossom & Bourbon Restaurant, and KFC.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the business, it offers a brief introduction on its website: “At Paik’s Noodle, founded by Chef Jong Won Paik, we bring the vibrant flavors of Korea and China to your table. Our menu reflects Chef Paik’s passion for creating meals that are both delightful and straightforward.”
Popular offerings include “Jajangmyeon: A beloved Korean-Chinese noodle dish with a rich black bean sauce, a must-try for noodle lovers; Jjamppong: Spicy seafood noodles that combine heat and flavor for those who enjoy a little adventure; [and] Sweet and Sour Pork: A classic dish with a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess, satisfying for all tastes.”
The franchise currently boasts over 300 locations globally.
What Now San Francisco reached out to the location’s franchisee, Steve Ho, to inquire about his plans for the outpost, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
