According to Mercury News, San Jose’s Slice of Homage is planning to open its second location, this time in Sunnyvale.

Taking over a space formerly home to A Slice of New York at 1253 W El Camino Real, the eatery will land near establishments such as the Indian restaurant Everest Momo, the South Indian food truck House of Tiffins, and Starbird Chicken.

On the concept’s website, its founder, Steven Barrantes, shares, “I have been in the food service industry all of my professional career, going on 20 years with a focus on pizza… My career began at a local pizzeria in San Jose, where I worked for over 12 years, and that is where I got my start.”

The menu features a “wide range of pizza styles that are found in various parts of the country and the world. From Detroit-style pizza with the caramelized cheese crust to [the] 5-day aged Sicilian pizza.”

What Now San Francisco reached out to Barrantes to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
