According to SFist, the Bay Area-based business Laughing Monk Brewing is debuting a new location in San Francisco’s NoPa neighborhood.

Coming to 1785 Fulton Street, taking over a space formerly home to Barrel Head Brewhouse — a brewpub that shuttered around this time last year — the eatery will land near establishments such as the brewpub Bistro Gambrinus, the Japanese eatery Fish in The Box, and the bar Scarlet Fox.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s owner, Sam Ghadiri, to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Laughing Monk, the brewery briefly introduces itself on its Facebook page: “Laughing Monk Brewing is a small batch craft brewery and taproom in San Francisco that blends traditions from California and Belgium with local, seasonal ingredients.”

The business currently operates locations in San Francisco, Scott’s Valley Gastropub, and Sunnyvale.
