Atlanta-based Monday Night Brewing will be expanding their West Midtown location, adding a new indoor-outdoor concept called The Grove in the adjacent space to their current location, according to a release. Along a new section of the Atlanta Beltline Northwest Trail, The Grove will open at 670 Trabert Ave. in August.
The Grove will include a new 7,400-square-foot indoor taproom that will feature a curated seasonal cocktail list, as well as a 17,000-square-foot outdoor communal space and patio. The outdoor space will feature elements like fire pits, a 20-foot LED TV screen, live music and gathering spaces, and 62 native trees. The space is designed to be family-friendly and community-oriented.
The new concept will allow the brand to expand its offerings, with plans for 30 taps, which will mark the largest beer offering at any Monday Night Brewing location. Customers can expect almost 100 releases annually, with beer options including seasonal items to taproom exclusives.
The Grove will also offer a morning program featuring coffee, pastries and breakfast sandwiches, as well as two Italian-built pizza ovens that will allow for a new pizza menu.
“The Grove brings new life and a fresh start to the Monday Night Brewing space that started it all,” co-founder Joel Iverson said in the release. “Thirteen years ago, we moved into an abandoned warehouse on a dead-end street and created an inviting taproom amidst a beer production space. West Midtown has been our home ever since, so we want this to be an everyday experience — a space to connect with friends, meet new people and enjoy fresh beer, great food and good vibes.”
The West Midtown location marks the original spot for Monday Night Brewing, which founders Jeff Heck, Iverson and Jonathan Baker opened in 2011. It now has two locations in Atlanta, and spots in Birmingham, Nashville, Charlotte and Knoxville. It also distributed its beers across the Southeast.
The Grove plans to launch its hiring process in July.
