According to a recently submitted permit application, Austin-based brewpub chain Pinthouse Pizza plans to debut a new location in San Antonio.
Coming to the intersection of 5534 N 1604 W Landmark Parkway, the eatery will land near establishments such as Target, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods Market.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the Central Texas chain, Pinthouse Pizza offers a brief introduction on its website: “Founded by six friends with a shared love for craft beer and great food, Pinthouse is more than just a brewpub — it’s a true reflection of Austin’s vibrant spirit. We take pride in contributing to the energy and creativity that make our city so special.”
The statement continues, “At Pinthouse, you’ll find award-winning beers and flavorful, handcrafted dishes, served up in a welcoming, laid-back setting… we’re all about creating beers that are bold, flavorful, and innovative, while always staying refreshingly drinkable.”
Alongside the wide selection of craft brews, the Pinthouse menu is comprised of pizza pies, pizza rolls, sandwiches, and salads.
What Now San Antonio reached out to one of the concept’s owners, Tyler Norwood, to inquire about the expansion plans, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the filing reveals that the finish-out of the existing 8,510-square-foot building, along with the construction of a 1,715-square-foot addition, is scheduled to begin on September 1 and is expected to be completed by May 1, 2026. The Austin-based firm OPA Design Studio Inc. will oversee the project for an estimated $2.7 million.
