According to a recently submitted permit application, local concept Taco Vallarta plans to open a new location in the San Antonio area.
Coming to 14021 U.S. Hwy 87 W in La Vernia, taking over a space formerly home to Burger King, the eatery will land near establishments such as McDonald’s, O’Reilly Auto Parts, and Sonic Drive-In.
What Now San Antonio reached out to the concept’s owner, Esmeralda Flores, to inquire about her plans for the upcoming location, but she could not provide additional information before publication. However, the property’s owner confirmed the name and address of the restaurant.
Additionally, the filing reveals that renovations — which include replacing hoods, the fire suppression system, sinks, a gas valve, and adding a new cooling appliance main line and ceiling grids — began on June 3 and will be completed on July 3.
