According to The San Francisco Business Times, local concept Zachary’s Chicago Pizza is debuting a new location in Livermore.
Coming to 2470 1st Street, Suite 104, the eatery will land near establishments such as Sauced BBQ & Spirits, the Mediterranean concept Sultan’s Kebab, and the cafe Story Coffee.
What Now San Francisco reached out to Leandra Schuler, Chief Operating Officer at Zachary’s Chicago Pizza, to inquire about the expansion, but she could not provide additional information before publication.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the local chain, Zachary’s Chicago Pizza is known for its deep-dish pizza. The concept’s website offers a glimpse into how it’s made, sharing, “A thin layer of our house-made pizza dough is tucked into a deep dish pizza pan. We fill the pie with the highest quality cheese and any combination of fresh toppings. Another thin layer of dough is then added to cover the filling. The pizza is topped with our zesty, diced tomato sauce and is slowly cooked in our oven. The top layer of dough will melt into the cheese and seal in flavor as our flaky, buttery crust bakes until it is golden brown.”
The menu also offers “Zachary’s Thin Style pizza… a great choice for those who prefer a more traditional pizza,” as well as salads and starters.
Founded in 1983 in Oakland, the business now operates a total of five locations across Berkeley, Oakland, Pleasant Hill, and Pleasanton.
An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
