Athleisure and yoga brand Alo Yoga could be coming to High Street in Dunwoody.
Alo Yoga launched in Los Angeles in 2007 with the goal of bringing yoga — and the best yoga clothing — to customers. Since then, it has become a popular brand for both people who do yoga and for those who simply enjoy wearing athleisure outfits.
“The founders wanted to spread good by bringing yoga to the world: to anyone who is experiencing the transformative power of yoga, to the world’s best yogis who wear Alo because it’s the only line that actually elevates their practice, to the celebrities and the fashion-forward who wear Alo because it’s the perfect street brand, comfortable, contemporary and decidedly not just for the mat,” the Alo Yoga website states.
The modern fashion brand also offers yoga classes at its Alo studios. The Dunwoody spot looks to have plans for yoga classes as well as apparel retail.
The brand has more than 70 locations across 27 states, with a strong presence in states like California. Currently, Alo has only one Georgia spot, located in Lenox Square.
High Street in Dunwoody has seen plenty of activity this year. Now Massage and omakase concept Cuddlefish opened there, and The Hampton Social just opened on High Street on June 20.
