Dynasty Super Buffet offers a variety of dishes, including grills, salads, seafood, and desserts. During a routine inspection on July 7, the Tennessee Department of Health cited the restaurant for 26 health violations, resulting in a score of 74.

Inspectors initially cited the restaurant for improper food storage practices. For instance, raw chicken was placed directly in a bowl of water and flour mix. Raw shell eggs were also stored over open vegetable containers.

Health inspectors from the Tennessee Department of Health reported unsanitary kitchen conditions. Inspectors noted raw chicken residue in the flour bin and black mold inside the ice machines. They also noted also noted rust buildup inside the prep cooler.

The restaurant was also cited for improper cooking temperatures. Inspectors also found an employee’s water bottle inside the hibachi prep cooler. An employee’s water bottle was stored inside the hibachi prep cooler at the Nashville restaurant.

Food inspectors reported broken floor tiles at Dynasty Super Buffet. The lid of the chest freezer was also broken. Additionally, the lights were out in the back kitchen area over the ice machines.

Follow-up Inspection Scheduled

According to the inspection report by the Tennessee Department of Health, food inspectors will return to Dynasty Super Buffet. A reinspection will take place at the Chinese buffet restaurant in the next 10 days.

Some issues were addressed on-site, but additional corrections are needed before the upcoming reinspection.
