La Loud Thai, located at 630 N La Brea Ave in Inglewood, specializes in Thai cuisine. During the inspection, officials cited multiple food safety violations. Hot and cold food holding temperatures were not maintained. Staff were instructed to store food at proper temperatures.
The inspecting officer observed that food contact surfaces and nonfood contact surfaces in the facility were not clean and sanitized. Inspectors also found wiping cloths stored outside of the sanitizing solution. The restaurant did not provide properly constructed toilet facilities.
The report noted improper thawing methods and food storage practices that failed to meet health standards. Inspectors also found inadequate vermin control, which led to an active infestation. Inspectors reported seeing live insects and rodents inside the facility.
Additional violations included poor ventilation, inadequate handwashing stations, and unapproved equipment. Unapproved equipment and unclean floors and walls were also observed.
Due to the violations, the restaurant was temporarily closed by health authorities. The County conducts regular inspections to ensure compliance with state health regulations.
