A rebranding and name change are underway for a Gig Harbor restaurant.

Wok on Fire Asian BBQ, located in Olympic Village, has reopened under new ownership as a Thai restaurant.

Owner Joy Allen told The News Tribune she plans to rename the restaurant Thai Lime Leaf, the same name as her other location in Everett. New signage is also in the works.

The refreshed menu features Thai-inspired dishes such as pad thai, stir-fried entrees, soups, salads, various fried rice and curry options—including a pineapple-infused curry. The dessert menu includes ice cream, cheesecake, sweet black rice topped with coconut milk and a seasonal mango sticky rice also finished with coconut milk.

Allen said she decided to open the restaurant after noticing few Thai dining options in the area. She also said she enjoys the Gig Harbor community and is excited to welcome guests, according to the outlet.

What Now Seattle has reached out to Allen about future plans and potential changes. This story may be updated.

Thai Lime Leaf (currently operating as Wok on Fire Asian BBQ) is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, closed Tuesday. Sunday hours are noon to 8 p.m.
