Town at Trilith Expands With New Live Entertainment Complex
The 530,000-square-foot Trilith Live complex will roll out in two phases. Phase I includes live sound stages, a greenroom, and broadcast-ready production spaces. Phase II, expected to open later this year, will feature a 2,200-seat theater and a luxury cinema.
Big Stage, Big Vision
Trilith Live offers a wide range of facilities and features for visitors to enjoy. The live entertainment complex will have two sound stages set across a space of 25,000 square feet and two insert stages across 5,000 square feet.
The complex includes a theater with 2,200 seats, purpose-built for conventions, concerts, and performing arts. The venue will also sport a broadcast-quality infrastructure complete with support space and production offices.
An additional 100,000 square feet will be dedicated to greenrooms, wardrobe areas, and production offices. The luxury cinema will offer multiple screens, including a private screening room.
For a larger gathering, the project built a 730-space parking deck and an outdoor plaza for community gatherings, festivals, and public events.
Community and Economic Impact
Organizers believe Trilith Live is a community-focused venue, dedicated to supporting the performing arts and serving the residents with accessibility. The non-profit organization is meant to be an inclusive space for a variety of events.
The new project is expected to create hundreds of jobs and attract a dynamic mix of touring artists, live events, television productions and conventions. It significantly expands Fayette County’s capacity to host large-scale creative entertainment programming.
“Trilith Live adds to Georgia’s growing role in the national entertainment landscape and allows us to extend Georgia’s ability to support every stage of production from live entertainment and television production,” said Matt McClain, general manager and executive director of Trilith Live. “It’s a major step forward for the creative economy in the region.”
With large-scale diverse offerings and ambitious planning, Trilith Live is creating new opportunities in entertainment and creativity. The project aims to foster community engagement through local programming and inclusive events.
