Owners of a coffee shop in Fairview are bringing a new location to their hometown of Gresham.
Chris and Stacey Cutshall plan on opening the new Stomping Grounds space at 308 N Main Avenue by the end of August. The address is the former Cafe Delirium space that operated for over 20 years. This is not the first time they have brought coffee to Gresham as they opened a drive-thru location in 2018 at 555 NE Division Street.
The space is making progress, according to Chris. He said the area has been “totally gutted,” and the floor is being redone. The two sought out the space as it is in the heart of Gresham, and now that their youngest son is in school there is more time to work on their business venture.
“The location, the size and that it was a preexisting shop are the main factors,” Chris told What Now Portland.
While the shop serves lattes and cappuccinos, breakfast, lunch and pastry options are also offered. For breakfast, there are sandwiches, oatmeal and bagels, and for lunch there are wraps, pesto sandwiches, soups and salads.
The menu for the new Gresham spot will be the same, but Chris is looking to make a few tweaks that will carry over. These changes have not been disclosed yet.
The business also regularly hosts “Make a Difference Monday” in which on the third Monday of every month, 25% of their sales go to a selected non-profit to help those in need. More information can be found on their website iheartstompinggrounds.com.
